The whisky Club "Uisige Beathe" was basically created after a not very memorable lunch in the canteen, at the institute for Political Sciences at University of Aarhus, in the afternoon, some day in November 1994. Five students were sitting with their lousy cup of coffee, saluting the joy of booze and all the happy side effects which comes along.
Whether it was a "struck of lightning" or simply a good idea has forever after been lost in the mist of oblivion, but suddenly one of the soon-to-be members, in the soon-to-be whisky Club said: " Why don't we make a whisky Club !"
